One of the common sounds for a Florida is the croaking of frogs and toads heralding the advent of rain, their search for mates or declaration of territory. These fascinating amphibians are the upcoming monthly Friday Night Naturalist program titled Frogs and Toads of Florida presented by Mike Cascioli on June 21 at 6 PM.
This informative and entertaining program gives an overview of both native and invasive species’ of frogs and toads with their characteristics. You will learn about the impact of invasive species. A special interactive audio portion teaches their distinct sounds and calls which are often heard loud and clear on summer nights. This program is suitable for all ages.
