Robin R. Hayes

Robin started with the City of Mount Dora on September 26, 2016, as the City Manager.   Robin worked for the City of Oviedo as the Management Services Director from January 2012 to September 2016 and her disciplines included Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Special Projects, and Acting City Manager as needed.  She was Finance Director with the City of Winter Garden from June 2008 until January 2012.  Her functions within Finance included Customer Service, Utility Billing, Purchasing, Meter Readers, Strategic Planning, and General Accounting/Finance Functions.  Robin was at the City of Titusville as a Finance Manager and Budget Officer between September 2002 and June 2008.  Before going to the City of Titusville, Robin was at Parrish Medical Center as the Corporate Accountant and the School Board of Brevard County – Budgeting and Project Manager for Certified Energy Program for five years Robin was also at EG&G Florida at Kennedy Space Center for just shy of 10 years as a Project Manager of Capital Projects and Launch Readiness System programming.

Robin has a Bachelor’s of Science Business Administration.  She grew up in Titusville as a late teen and lived there until relocating to Lake County in January 2017. She is originally from Dobson, or Mt. Airy, North Carolina also known as Mayberry, North Carolina.  Robin has been married to Irv Hayes for 34 years and has three grown sons and three granddaughters.
