The Mount Dora CRA created the Wayfinding Sign Program in order to make it easier for visitors to find downtown businesses and points of interest.

The Wayfinding Sign Program began in conjunction with phase I of the Downtown Streetscape Project and was also recommended in the 2011 Citywide Visioning Study Final Report.

Businesses must be located within the CRA district to be eligible to apply.

Businesses are required to complete a Wayfinding Sign Application and limited to one (1) sign per business.  A copy of a current business tax receipt is also required. The location will not be reserved until this process is complete.

$75 one-time application fee.
$25 fee for each relocation of the sign (with request in writing).

Participation is based on a first-come, first-served basis.  A limited number of spaces are available at each location and may result in a waiting list.  Businesses on the waiting list will be given priority over new applications.

Applications are also available from the Planning & Development Department at City Hall.  Please call 352-735-7112 for more information or email plandev@cityofmountdora.com.
