Members of the Public Arts Commission are appointed by the Mount Dora City Council.

The Public Arts Commission endeavors to encourage creativity, education, and appreciation of the arts while promoting opportunities for all to engage in and enjoy the cultural, social, and historical benefits of this exceptional expression of a public society.

We invite you to make a donation to the Art in Public Places Program. You will be redirected to the United Arts of Central Florida's website. When making your donation, please select "OTHER" organization and type in "Mount Dora Public Art." Thank you for supporting Art in Public Places!Registered Artists
The Public Arts Commission is soliciting professional artists on an ongoing basis for the purpose of creating a database of qualified artists that will be utilized in the commissioning of public art by the Public Arts Commission. The database will also be a resource for private developers in selecting capable artists to create public art for private developments to meet the requirements of Public Art in Mount Dora.Artist Registration is open to all artists of visual art conceived in any medium, material, or combination thereof.
Submissions are required to include the following:
- Application
- Resume (please submit in PDF format)
- Example of representative and commissioned artwork (please submit in PDF or JPEG format)
