Celtic violinist and founding member of global phenomenon Celtic Woman Máiréad Nesbitt performs at the Mount Dora Community Building (520 N. Baker St., Mount Dora, FL 32757) on Saturday, February 19^th, 2022 at 3:30 p.m.. 

The Grammy and Emmy nominated artist and composer has enchanted millions of fans around the world. She is the featured Celtic Violinist on all 11 Celtic Woman albums, each achieving the #1 slot in the Billboard World Music Chart. Cited by the New York Times as “a demon of a fiddle player”, Máiréad has two Billboard Charting solo albums in World Music, Classical Crossover, Classical and Heatseeker Charts to her credit. She is also guest violinist and composer on many award winning cds with international artists. 

In 2017, Ms. Nesbitt launched her very own Celtic Violin Collection. A past member of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra of Ireland, Máiréad has been guest soloist with orchestras in the USA & internationally including the City of Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra, The Berne Symphony Orchestra and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. She has performed for four US Presidents at the White House and in iconic venues worldwide including Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Hyde Park, and Broadway.

Ms. Nesbitt is also the creator of the Máiréad Nesbitt Jewelry Collection.
