  2. Microsoft Excel: Basics

    W.T. Bland Public Library Technology Lab Registration begins 1/2/2019 at 8:00 AM Learn how to use Excel to organize numbers and text in a spreadsheet format. Excel spreadsheets can be used for budgets, work and school projects, record-keeping, lists, inventories, and more. By the end of this class you should be able to create and format a spreadsheet; enter and edit data; and use basic formulas to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers in a horizontal row or vertical column. Attendees will use PCs in the W.T. Bland Public Library Technology Lab, which have Microsoft Excel 2016 installed.

    Enjoy free popcorn and curated classic films every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. The program starts at 7:00pm, with a brief synopsis of what makes it a classic film (pre-1970), followed by a traditional movie cartoon before the feature. Titles are subject to change and are not listed on this calendar. To learn the film scheduled for particular week, please call the Circulation Desk (352) 735-7180 (option 5).
