Learn yoga poses and stretches you can do sitting down. Stay active, alert, and healthy with these exercises. Accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Class is loosely based on the book Chair Yoga, by Kristin McGee. Seniors & beginners welcome! Free; no registration required.

Lake County Homeopathic Study Group

Homeopathy is a medical system developed in Germany over 200 years ago. It’s based on two beliefs: a disease can be treated with substances that produce similar symptoms in healthy people and the lower the dose of a medication, the greater its effectiveness. Homeopathic products can come from plants, minerals, or animals. Learn about homeopathy at our meetings—beginners are welcome. No registration required.

Citizenship Class

Would you like free help in preparing for citizenship? Please join our Citizenship Class for friendly help and advice. Class students will work with our volunteer instructor to prepare for the Citizenship process. Students will go through the application form to prepare for the verbal interview and written test. This includes speaking, reading, and writing in English and learning Civics (History and Government). Enrolled students receive free preparation materials. This is a five-week series class, taught by an instructor who became a U.S. citizen in 2005. Please register at the Circulation Desk to confirm your participation (no paperwork required).

Book Club

All adults are welcome to join us for lively literary discussions and friendship! Enjoy adult refreshments and meet fellow booklovers on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Simpson Farmhouse (overflow parking at Library). No registration is required.
